Skulk is from Middle English skulken, ultimately of Scandinavian origin.

i love this word... it has such a good meaning... to lurk and creep along... sneaky... it is such a psycho wordy... dosent the word itself just remind you of times creeping around alone late at night, your creepers softly treading on the dark pavement as a black cat darts out of the shadowy bushes forming an almost tunnel as you walk alongside the desolate drive, you heading to the mailbox at the end of your treelined and scarsly populated street in the pitchblack of night? It reminds me of times like those. Also it is of scandinavian origin (just like me~!) so i thought it fit as a website name!
